CERTIFIED COURSE IN PROJECT MANAGEMENT

The role of projects in organizations is receiving increasing attention. Projects are major tool for implementation and achieving the strategic goals of any organization. Project Management provides people with a powerful set of tools that improves their ability to plan, implement and rearrange activities to accomplish specific organizational objectives. Project Management is no longer special-need management. It is rapidly becoming a standard way of doing business. The future promises an increase in the importance and role of projects in contributing to strategic direction of organizations. Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport has decided to launch a certified course on Project Management to train the staff of Public & Private Sector organizations. This course is being conducted in collaboration with Burraq Associates at KPT Staff College, Karachi in the month of July, 2011.

The Course is due to start on Wednesday 20th July, 2011 at KPT Staff College. Following are the salient features of the Course:

  1. The course will be conducted as an Evening Program from 1800 to 2100 hours, four times a week on from Monday to Thursday in 36 hours. This duration enables the faculty to cover the modules thoroughly and the students to derive full benefit.

The Course consists of 08 modules. Subjects for all the modules are enclosed as Appendix ‘A’. Registration Fee for the full course is Rs. 22,900. The class will start on Wednesday 20th July, 2011.

Fifteen to Twenty (15-20) participants will be admitted for the Certified Course on Project Management on first come firs\t served basis.
